CLASSES & REGISTRATION

In-station Stop the Bleed classes:  Stop the Bleed classes are provided through a partnership between the Bainbridge Island Fire Department, the City of Bainbridge Island, and Bainbridge Prepares. Classes are intended for individual members of the community and are offered at no charge.  Class dates, times, and registration information here.

In-station CPR/AED classes: In-station community CPR classes are offered about six times per year. The classes are typically held on Monday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Station 21, located at 8895 Madison Ave. See below for currently available classes and the registration link. There is no charge for the classes. Please note that this class is bystander/layman training and NOT a healthcare provider-certified class.

Note: Only ONE PERSON per registration will be accepted. Due to the nature of our electronic registration system, double entries may be dropped from the registration process.  If you enrolled for a class you cannot attend, please contact us so we may remove you from the class roster and open up the spot for another participant.

For questions about our classes, to learn about off-site, private group classes, or to be added to a class waitlist, contact Community Risk Reduction Coordinator Janine Courtemanche at or (206) 451-2031.
